ANNA FRANZON
Anna Franzon is a Swedish singer songwriter who after high school decided to turn southward and explore Spain. In the midst of cavas and paellas Anna began her playing all over Barcelona and Malaga. She had been writing for years but it was in Spain she decided to bring her music to the stages. Her performances and her music became the target for audience adoration and Anna decided to return to Stockholm and bring together her favorite musicians. That’s how Anna Franzon & Stockholm’s Snyggaste Band came together in January 2008. Now Sweden had a new live band to enjoy, Anna played at venues like Mosebacke and Stampen.
In August 2008 Anna left Sweden yet again, this time heading for Boston and Berklee College of Music where she had been awarded a scholarship to study songwriting and contemporary singing.
Anna Franzon has lately been shuttling back a forth across the Atlantic to record her debut EP while at the same time keeping up with her studies in the US. Now it is finally done.
